Children’s Information

Synthera Therapeutics only collects personally identifiable information from children under the age of 18 if the child is brought to our clinic for assessment and/or treatment. In these cases, written consent from the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) is obtained prior to any disclosure of information. Further, at least one parent or legal guardian is required to be present during assessments and treatments. For teenagers, at least one parent or legal guardian must be present during assessments and treatments unless written consent is given for the child to attend treatments on their own.

If you suspect that your child has provided personal information on our website without your consent, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately at 403-807-7806 or by email at info@synthera.ca.We will promptly remove such information from our records.

Why Do We Collect Your Information?

The purposes of collecting your information are indicated before the collection of your information. Safeguards are in place to ensure that information is not disclosed or shared more widely than is absolutely necessary. Measures are also taken to ensure that the integrity of all personal information is maintained and to prevent it from being lost or destroyed outside of regular records retention protocols.

Synthera Therapeutics does not release patient names or information under any circumstances unless required by law. We will not and do not sell, trade, or otherwise share our patient or mailing lists.
